It's going to be a long six weeks before we get to see Part 2 instructions! To remain involved, I've only made one four-patch square so far. I plan to cut and stitch the remaining 31 slowly, whenever I feel the urge to piece. (That urge is what got me into this mystery quilt when I already have UFO's in various later stages of construction!)
it seems like most people are well along their way into part 1. I am still waiting for my QM to arrive. Oh well patience is a virtue - they say.
Well, this way, you won't have as long a wait between Part 1 and Part 2! (unless your next issue of QM arrives late, too... is the northumberland in your name Northumberland, England, and is that the delay?)
Ref. is to the northumberland Straight between Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Mags from the USA are notoriously slow reaching me. so there will always be a long wait. Patience.
Your Part looks wonderful! Sometimes the parts don't look well until they are all put together to make the whole. Yours looks great already!
I really like your warm, rich color palette! Can't wait to see more!
:) Thanks, joanie and Denise! BTW, northumberlandquilter -- has your magazine arrived yet?
It's so much fun to watch everybody's quilt progress. I can't wait to see how these quilts look when they are done. Everyone, please keep posting photos!
Love how your Part 1 has turned out. All the pictures in the media page are WONDERFUL! Part 2 isn't far behind now.

These are so nice & warm looking! Very nice choices.
Thanks for the comments, Sandi and 4dreamsr... Hey, 4dreamsr, are you able to post photos? I'd love to see your quilt as it comes along! It is so much fun watching everyone's progress. This is my first mystery quilt and it is turning out to be a wonderful experience. I hope I love my quilt when it is finished -- if I don't I will find a friend or a relative who does :)
