Use school colors and a motivational message to inspire your graduate to greatness.
Featured in the Spring/Summer 2011 issue of Quilting Celebrations.
This is one of my favorite patterns in this issue because anyone can relate to the message; not necessarily graduates. I'm going to make this for one of my relatives struggling with cancer so when she looks at it everyday she'll be reminded that she can beat her disease, that people are wishing her the best and that anything's possible.
Perfect! What a cool idea!! :))) I hope you'll consider sharing a pic your finished banner with us. I'd love to see it.
I'll definitely post a pic when it's done Patrick.
Thanks! I'll hold you to it ;-)
A colorful celebration with a positive message to greet my students at the start of next year's fifth grade!
We homeschool and while my girls (twins) are just starting high school, this is a message that we have spoken of many times over the years. The full quote that we say is "Laugh Often, Dream Big, Reach for the Stars". I actually got this magazine to make the Reach for the Stars portion first to get a feel for how to do this type of banner....with the plans to use the same concept for the other two pieces of our quote and put them on the girls' wall.
