Kathy:the scissors are KIA
Beth, your projects are wonderful, I did my tea towel this week and was wondering if you stitched around the designs? I tried with an applique stitch and it was too large. just wondering what you did.
Mimi, I did get my snowflake out this week but decided that with two grandchildren around was not the time. I am so inspired to do the heart paper piece.
It is good to see everyone being so productive, I am so inspired by your accomplishments that maybe soon things will be churning out. I have to stay away from Carolyn, we went to pick up the Baby Lock from being serviced and of course it was a fabric store (Sew Many Ideas) and Carolyn had to shop, well......we both walked out with bags of fabric. I guess I will have to write a new song, instead of bury me in satin I will have to say bury me in quilters' cotton.
You are right...Beth, I transposed! My mind and fingers often refuse to work together:)
Has anyone heard anything from Mary lately?? I don't have her phone number or would give her a call. Would one of you who have her number, please call and report back to us? Tell her we love her and miss so hearing from her.
Wow, Beth. That is beautiful. Looks like she is sewing well? Have you named her yet?
Kathy and Janice - thanks for the correction! It helps to have the right name when looking for something:)
Janice - I used "invisible" thread and just did straight stitch around the design just inside the raw edge.
Michelle - after the initial hiccup all is working well! Thank Lin for me ;)
Thanks Beth, I will try that.
One more Ta-Da from the retreat! This took much longer than I had anticipated!
