Michelle, that is exactly what I planned on doing at our retreat and took everything with me to work on --- and left the pattern at home. I could have sworn I took it with me. When I got home, I still couldn't find it --- until last night about 10 pm.  Not anywhere near anything that has anything to do with sewing.  Of course it was the pattern that I had to send to Calif. for and the shops we went in didn't have it in Ohio either.  Now I can begin.    Ginny

Nana, I LOVE your sand dollar quilt, and it has given me an idea on how to finish my Virginia Beach block exchange quilt.  Nice!

I'm glad that Nana has survived to quilt another day, lol. It sure looks like you Mountain Mamas are having a lot fun and getting a lot accomplished too. I'm enjoying the pics and reporting. Hope you all continue to enjoy your retreat!

The Great Smoky Mountains view from above Gatlinburg. Can't you just smell the fresh air?

Now we're starting the gift exchange. Everyone gather around.

We're all listening intently to the rules. "Mary, can you repeat those rules again?"

Sissy, did you understand the rules?

Sara and Sherry, can you repeat those rules for us?

Kathy, you have to follow the rules in the game.

Janis keeps "acquiring" someone else's gift.

Beth, what's in your bag? Wall hangings!

Janis, did you get another gift?

I think Andrea has what Caroline wants now

Having so much fun looking at everyone else's gifts and deciding whether we want to pick another or take theirs.

Caroline isn't that material beautiful?

Debbie-do got a beautiful fairy ( now Debbie-do is that a fairy with feathers?) some material and heart pattern

Michelle, you can't steal from Nana!!

Diana, now who has the Comfy pillow?

And now the saga continues?  Will the pillow stay with Diana?

Mary, what was the rule again? Oh yes, the 3rd "stealer" of the gift gets to keep the gift.

Ashley, what's in the bag? Stuff she says?!  Fabric, fussy cut ruler and Chocolate!  A quilters paradise gift

Sara, what's in the bag? Fabric. Will be great for her clothes she's making this week

Who's up next ? Don't keep us in suspense.

Sara is opening her bag, a pattern. Now to go get more material?

Susan thinks if we don't see her material we won't steal it from her.

Janis, did you get your gift taken again?

Kathy, did someone take your gift also?
