Donna B:
, here is the 20 person lay-out diagram:

Thanks so much for the pictures Donna, the layout and looks perfect. In fact the entire room looks great, especially the kitchenette! Lots of room for our food. It's going to be a long six month wait.

Vivian, get on the waiting list. It's a long time until October. You might get lucky. Wish I were going but I'm planning on it next year if there's a spot for me.

Nana:

We know, and wish we were closer to be with you. It isn't the same, but I do wish I could give you an in-person hug right now.  Just remember, you are a strong woman, can handle this, and will be even better when the crisis is past.  Lewis and you will both be healthier for the changes you are making in your life-styles.  I know it's very hard, but I know you can do this.  It may take awhile, but you will succeed!

BTW, I had more than one reasons for hanging-out at the Beachcomber's Haven last week...lol!  The stress from dealing with my sisters was right up there.  Just visiting with those quilters for a hour was very therapeutic for me.  Any chance you could drop by a LQS open-sew session for awhile to admire their projects and talk HSTs?  You don't even have to sew to benefit - I found that out!

here is some good news.  got this email from Spud.  She is doing well.

Hi all,

I wanted to let everyone know that I had another good scan. The DR said no sign of cancer and we will do another scan in 4 months and then after that we will wait 6 months.

I’ve been feeling really good and better every day.

Things have been really busy around here. Brandi and the boys are busy with school and soccer and there is never a dull moment. Kent is busy at work, he works too many hours but I’m sure glad he has a job. I’m currently trying to set up a sewing space in my bedroom (Brandi has my sewing room for now) so I can get back to sewing and quilting.

The weather is typical spring, sunny and warm one minute and snowing the next. *:) happy

Thank you so much for all your thoughts and prayers through all of this, knowing that you were there helped us to keep fighting. We have won the battle and with God’s grace we will win the war.

Love
Kent and Tangie
