You guys have it together! Haven't started packing yet and am still working on cutting and organizing my project! Haven't got my white elephant yet either :(. Got my strips though! :). And charms! May have to go purchase a few pair of socks as I've noticed my toes peeking through and I really don't like wearing shoes while sewing....otherwise do we dress comfy while sewing? I'm a jeans person ....do I need to pack dress pants for any reason? I take it there are a lot of wine drinkers attending....should I bring some wine from Hermann ?? That's our little German town noted for its wineries! Let me know girls....I'm new to this too!!
ultra casual. some of us have shown up in our jammies. you may want to go out to dinner now and then. there will probably be a day we check out the quilt shops, but for the most part we sew and laugh and sew and laugh and sew and laugh.

SObuzy ,please dress is very causal , or for most of us anyway. I can't sew in shoes either. so don't feel to bad about that. Yes bring some wine. but don't go over board with it . LOL . WE have lots of fun at these retreats, So don't forget your camera, you will want pictures . LOL We have been known to have visits from some nasty little gremlins at our retreats , they don't tear up anything ,but they can do some strange things when they show up ..All in fun.

Gremlins - I forgot about those pesky critters that sneak into quilt retreats. Maybe we should bring some mouse traps or sticky fly paper.

I am so discombobulated that I can't get anything done. I can not focus on a task for more than 5 minutes at a time. I think the excitement is building. Only a week until I leave for Diana's. WooHoo
There are some great wineries in Branson. If we run out of wine we can always make a run!!
I am getting very excited. Can't wait to get down there and not worry about a thing but sew, sew, sew. And laugh!

My biggest regret is that our partners in crime Kris, Marie and Marlene won't be there. Where is Marlene, anyway? And not to forget, Darlene from NY, Joni, Marge, Sue, Mary, am I leaving anyone out from VB? I will miss them all.
Marie's not coming??? Randy was so looking forward to a big hug!
We are definitely going to have to find a way to get Marie to more of our retreats. She is so much fun. And I love listening to her talk.

The hot tub is being rebuilt in antisipation of the quilter retreat ladies and guys I guess. It is schedualled to be done late next week but it is a contract job. You know contractors, they don't always proform as schedualed. However we have two hot tubs. Francis really wish you were here to break it in.
