I think the poker game and right-left-center sounds great. I have a whole bucket full of leftover 5" squares from leftover pieces from various quilts or those fat quarters received from shop hops that I had no idea what to do with. And I've got lots of partial strips to bring along. then to make a charity quilt from the winnings, or make more space for new fabric after you've lost the "ugly" stuff....hehehe
I'm in for both games.

I can hardly wait for this retreat to begin.I haven't played either game but I will find someone to cut me some charms and strips (I just had shoulder surgery 2 weeks ago and its my right one so I am not allowed to do any range of motion or pressure for 4 more weeks ) but I can still sew so life is good and I have been following along on your discussions and you have me hyped to see all of you that I know again and meet the new ones

Everyone heal well and stay healthy and I'll see you all in March---- Aloha
Oh my...I spent last night cutting strips...same material....guess I'll start again tomorrow and try and come up with different colors. Totally makes sense!
owie, darlene, sam has had three of those surgeries and i know how painful they are.
he has also had three knees done, his head, toe and foot, plus assorted other parts. his theme song is, Head and Shoulders Knees and Toes. i have a very active boy, who forgets he is 60 now. the last time he went inverted on skis, about 10 years ago, i told him not to worry about breaking his neck, because if i saw that again, i would break it for him. he was wise enough the next morning not to complain, even though he could hardly walk.

sounds like you have a bionic man on your hands.I am healing with very little pain or as they say women are stronger than men.I don't like the inconvenience of having some one drive me or sometimes takes 2 of us to sweep the floor lol but my sewing is ok no cutting so I can sometimes con a boy to run the cutter once in a while lol

Gini - Sam and Bill should compare surgeries! Bill has had both ankles rebuilt, both knees replaced, three rotator cuff surgeries, two neck fusions and bi-lateral carpel tunnel surgery. On the Monday after Branson, he is going in for back surgery and maybe some fusion,
Darlene - Please heal and we will see you and Larry in Branson, I am so looking forward to seeing everyone!!!
Mary, I! So glad you are going to make it. Now that all my projects are mostly done I can get excited about branson.,
I got my strips and charms all ready. Now I am ready to play.
Nana: I got my strips and charms all ready. Now I am ready to play.
Me too, I got it done this morning. It was a quick and easy task so thought I'd get it out of the way. Can't wait, really really can't wait. George sees tornados on the news tonight and looks at me "You SURE you want to go back to the midwest. Are you CRAZY"
