Frog is on the lily pad. Turtle is on his log. Now on to the ruddy ducks. Mostly applique so far. Now sure how much piecing there will be. Hope to piece most of the back ground at least.

Me too, working for a week or so. I've got the barn done with some pieces stuck on here and there. Now I'm trying to decide whether to also have a farm house or just go with pastures and orchards to finish off the row. Do we share our own row with everyone or just those who are scheduled to make a row for us according to the chart?

I am just starting my row for my quilt and thought about the topic of pre-washing fabric or not.
Since we all seem to have varying opinions on this topic, should each person specify (for their quilt)
whether they want the fabrics to be prewashed or not?

My fabric is all pre-washed but I'm not sure if I'd want to require anyone working on my quilt to pre-wash fabric.
I prefer pre-washed but not required. Ever since washing one piece of good quality quilt fabric, and comparing it to another piece of the same fabric unwashed, and seeing how much shrinkage there was. I have started washing everything. But it does take some big hunks of fabric to notice the difference.

I agree, I wouldn't want someone to be required to pre-wash. But I think we would all prefer to have the fabric for each quilt treated the same...so some rows would not shrink post-construction when other rows had been pre-washed for the same quilt. Normally, I do not pre-wash - expecting that the fabric will all do its thing when it is finally washed. But, with this row quilt, I am not sure how to go on this...
Okay - how about a quick note in the "themes" thread as to whether you want pre-wash or not, and then I can add that to the chart.

Good idea Nancy. I generally always pre-wash fabrics as I bring them home so I guess I need to know if someone doesn't want theirs pre-washed. I prefer pre-wash.
I know we have until Apr 30th to post our row but I wanted to get this done before the MQVI instructions started. I may through on a few more chickens and a sheep or two but it's basically done enough to show colors and theme. Lisa, have you decided on a theme yet?
