Judy T-Bellingham:

Marge P:
I have lost track, is Judy T from Bellingham coming?  I know there was the reunion with girlfriends that was at the same time.  I enjoyed both Judy's last year so hope they both will be there this year.

Hi Marge. No, I'm not coming this year. Too many conflicts and yes, a trip with lifetime girlfriends the following week to celebrate our 70th birthdays. I had to give something up. It's been giving me a tummy ache just listening to all of you so excited about getting together. I am so going to miss seeing you guys.

I cannot wait for the photos to start posting. (although they just might make me cry!)

1. Tell Nana to keep her butt attached to the chair

2. Hugs to LIsa and hope she does OK

3. Watch Gini, she's dangerous when you're not keeping an eye on your stuff

4. Also keep an eye on Kris, you never know what she's going to catch with her camera

5. Vivian, tip a glass of wine for me.

6. Deb, will miss being your table buddy big time!

Man, can you hear my groan?  I will miss you big time, too, so cool to watch an expert at work. Have a great time with girlfriends, that is super important ,too.

Are you saying its only 40 cents a bottle duty?  I can do that.  We had a fabulous wine at dinner the last time we were in BC and I would love to pick up some more.  A wine tasting it is.  and we will have to walk.  Last one up calls the cab!!

DH just clarified...the IRS tax is 36 cents per bottle and import duty (as of 2009) is 3% of the cost of the bottle...which would be 40-50 cents per bottle.  He couldn't find any law changes after that, so that is what it should be. It is paid at the customs station.  I am sure any winery in the upper (Canadian) Okanogan can tell you for sure what it will be.

Hey we are going to have a wine party everyone!!!

Amen, Wendy. Me too! We will have to have a virtual retreat and work along on projects next week. We could post our progress, post photos in jammies (well, second thought, no on that one for me- prefer not to say why), tipping the wine.

Donna

Zara is a real cutie.  We had a Pomeranian before kids.  He was very hard to train.  After our first child was born we ended up having to give him away.  He absolutely hated the baby and would try to bite him every chance he got.   I haven't had a pom since.

Off at 6 a.m. tomorrow, so I won't be chatting until evening.  Nana, I'm actually jealous of your two extra days to be able to go over and over your packing list.  I'm just sure I'll get out there and find I'm missing something critical.  (But how convenient that we have a quilt shop onsite!)

We have a 12-14 hour drive tomorrow, so unfortunately no shopping.  Boo!

Yes a little too convenient for some of us. LOL.

I plan on packing after work Friday night. I'll be up anyway so why not.

Safe travels to those of you heading out tomorrow. See you Sunday.
