Yes, in Lawrence.

It made a lot of noise and huffed and puffed like it was going to do bad things but it kept going and did dump some rain. That was the first storm, the second one I slept right through. I do have family in the Moore area and they are all okay, Thank God!

Thea and Barbara were wondering about you so I gave ya a shout! You take care and I hope to see you sometime soon.

Yes, Melody, I did. We didn't get much wind, but the rain came down. Are you in Lawrence? Did you get lots of wind? I think I slept thru it, actually!

Macy, I really like your quilt. It is beautiful. I really like your layout. I received eleven blocks, so I will need to add several more to make mine unsquare. Melody, I keep forgetting to send you more fabric to remake a block. I keep hoping I will see you in person some day.

I got all my birthday blocks from last years made into a quilt top. To all of you wonderful ladies who made me a block (or 2) they really made my quilt wonderful. I received 16 blocks, but I didn't want a square quilt so I made 4 additional ones.

I finally have all the fabric I need, I think, my LQS had 3 pieces, and found some on line. So I hope to get started after I get back from a 10 day vacation in Florida. I leave on Thursday, going with my DS, DDIL, and DD. As usual, I have so many projects going at once that I don't know which one to work on on any given day. I need to stop overextending myself. That just gets me frustrated and then I become nonproductive. Anyone else have this problem?? I love everyones blocks that i have seen thus far. This is going to be a lovely quilt.

I finally made time to get a block done today , this one is called Union Pride. Lots of HST but not a hard block to do . the cream fabric has a nice pattern on it of soldiers and tents ,hard to see it in the picture. Barbara
