thanks Barbara. I'm making it an odd size. I'm using EQ7 and making 10" finished blocks.

Jenn, I love your block, the boarder looks good. Judy T I also love the blues and the same background will tie it all together. I have the first block sewn and just need to add the applique and boarder. Will post pictures.

Melody, we all wanted to stay in Branson but they wouldn't let us!!  Is that the Metropolitan Fair fabric? Love your blocks. I bought the FQ bundle last year at Market in KC before it hit the stores, but haven't used it yet. I wonder if I could get the quilt out of that if I bought background fabric. It's the whole line, so it should be enough.

Elaine, GOOD TO HEAR FROM YA!  Yes it is Metro Fair.  I had to go to 3 different on line shops to find all that I needed.  I am unsure  the fq will do it but it will start it.  You can do a 8" or 12" block so you may be okay with yardage.  She has paired these blocks down a bit but I have enjoyed doing them.  Did your B'day block ever surface?  I had thought I would see you during the Shop Hop, but I won't be able to go.  I am going home for a week, leaving Sat. and will be back to KU country until the following weekend.  It will be the first time since the first of November.
