Phyllis, love your block, the fabrics just fit the time.
Thanks all for the nice comments about my quilt block. I just can't wait for the next block! Melody, so glad you are out and about again, that does make a diference on your outlook!
Bonner Springs, Kansas
Here's my version of the block. Since I have quite a few 8" orphan blocks, I've decided to go with the smaller blocks - maybe, in the end, I can incorporate all the blocks into one 'home':
Nice Block Jen. I had completely forgotten about this BOM. I have the fabric selected and the pattern printed, I'd better get my hiney in gear.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
Pretty block Jenn. I love your fabrics.
OK, I thought I had the pattern printed but now can't find it. I started an EQ7 project for this BOM but would like to go back and check it against the pattern she posted and now can't find it. I did find her blog but not the pattern.
Can someone give me the actual link to her pattern for this month?
Jenn, love the block and pretty fabrics. I haven't started on this one yet.
Phyllis, I like the fabric you used. I had a heck of a time finding the pattern. I was looking for a link to click and finally found it after scrolling and scrolling way down.
I may not put the sashing around my block. I may wait until all of them are done and then decide, although I really like the way yours looks.
Here's mine. I'm going to use the same background fabric for all the blocks. Maybe.
Wow Judy, I just read where you had forgotten about this Bom and now here you have finished the first one. I'm so impressed with your speed. I really like the background fabric.
I never did find a link to click on just copied and pasted, then printed it out.
Bonita:I never did find a link to click on just copied and pasted, then printed it out.
Bonita, that's what I finally found. I hadn't scrolled down far enough on the page. I didn't print it, I just copied and pasted it into a Word document for reference. I'm using EQ7 for the blocks.
Now, if I can just remember this for next month! Poor old brain has too many projects bumping around and getting in each other's way. LOL
Jen, I like your block and the way you framed it with the same fabric as the X.
Judy T-Bellingham:Here's mine. I'm going to use the same background fabric for all the blocks. Maybe.
Pretty block Judy. I like your fabrics.
It is beautiful Judy. Love your fabrics. I like it without the sashing too, it gives it an entirely different look.
Pretty, pretty fabrics Jenn I really like them.
