Elaine Phillips:

Is there a way you can just print off the pattern without all the story from her email? I am so computer illiterate that I can't figure it out. Can someone  help?

Elaine,

I create PDFs of the sections that relate to the blocks.

You can highlight the parts you want and copy and paste into your own document.

Judy T that sounds good. I'm going to try to do it but from last years experience in the fall things get wonky so it's hard to keep up with almost everything. I do not have EQ7 so a thumb drive is my best bet.

Phillis, here's the blog. She is posting a block on the first Saturday of each month this year.

Barbara did you hand stitch your star or machine stitch?

Here is my January block.  My first attempt at applique.  Not perfect, but not bad, I think.  I love this block, thinking about making a totally different quilt using this block.  We'll see.
