Barbara:
I got another block done today ,this one is #9 Mothers Dream,

Very pretty Barbara.

Barbara:
Jenn yes they are very big blocks ,I think they are 13.5 unfinished but I'have had them come out at 14 in or bigger . Just have to square them up .

The blocks are 14 inches finished and should measure 14.5 when you make them.

How many months have you guys gotten completed so far since the start of the project? I was wondering if you were still towards the beginning or the end of the quilt? I was thinking about getting the book next month (Jan 2013) sometime around the 7th. But I want to start either in the beginning stages or maybe middle but not end of the middle because I want a chance to pretty much do what you guys are doing and still have a chance to get caught up and chat on it.

Carey. I think we are over the place. I've made the thirteen blocks but am thinking of redoing a couple of them. Perhaps substituting one of the appliqué blocks. Don't worry about being behind. This is a very laid back project. You will love the book. Welcome aboard.

Carey , we have no time limit on the quilt ,so you can join  in anytime you want . I still have several blocks to make  and I may even do this one over again ,as I love these blocks . I would be doing in differnt colors the next time. that is the beauty of this group we are very laid back and no rush on anything.  Barbara
