When we sold our house and took off in the RV for 9 months, I decided that my memory of each state would be a star block. Each would feature fabrics that I felt represented the state, and tried to buy the fabric in that state. Keepsake Quilting had been my favorite fabric and supply store for 28 years, and was very sad to be leaving it behind (we moved to NC). The fabrics for the NH, ME and MA stars are from Keepsake. NH was star #1, and all the stars are 10" blocks. The finished quilt will be very generous!
