Oh my gosh! Your owl is perfect! Where did you get the white fabric? It looks like it was made especially for this block!

Thanks Joy. It's a Batik from my LQS. I saw it and said "that's Hedwig!"

It was a FQ I found at my LQS. It is an off-white with feathers outlined in a very pale gold. After I had Hedwig sewn together I used a black fine-line permenant marker and drew in the black barring, using a photo of a real snowy owl.  Max

I take it as a compliment that you confused my owl for Judy's! I really like Judy's Hedwig. That batik was perfect!

Hedwig and would like trying to paperpiece him.  Where do I find the pattern?  Also I need good directions as this will be my first try.
