Happy New Year Everyone. I've locked the old thread as it is 36 pages long. New year, brand new thread. I thought I'd start us off with a state BOM. The blocks will be in the group blog. Just go to group home page and click on blog on the right. The PDF will be attached for you to download. Please post photos of your completed blocks in the discussion threads for all to see. Group members can vote for favourites. Winners will receive prizes.

Remember:

In an effort to avoid congestion in the group members will not be able to start new thread topics. Thank you for understanding.

LOL. You were quicker than I was Judy. I haven't loaded any yet. I was trying to figure how many to load. If I want to do all the states I'd have to upload four blocks each month. You won't have to do them all. Choose the ones you want. I'm using Quilt Pro so the colors are generic from the program.

The first one is Alabama. It will be up in a few minutes.

OK two blocks are up. Let me know if you have any trouble with the PDFs. You'll need 4 of each pattern to make the 12 inch block.

Thanks for letting me know Judy. I have updated the file and added the Arizona block. Arkansas will follow and that will be it for the month of January.

Can you tell I don't use Quilt Pro very often? I like it though. I can directly create the PDFs without printing first. I can't do that from EQ. Wish it were more user friendly in other areas.

OK everyone. Carol Doak won't let me share the foundations with you so I have to take them down. I'll replace these blocks with different patterns later this evening or over the weekend. I didn't think it would be a problem since the patterns are in the software and I'm making the PDFs myself but, alas, that is not the case. Sorry.

That's OK Kris, but sorry you've had to go through all that work for nothing.

That's ok.  It was a great idea.  I was looking forward to seeing what the pattern was for Hawaii.  Thanks for working so hard on getting the first 4 states up.  I'm a beginner paper piecer so it looked very challenging.  But, it's a new year so I was up for it.

Kris,

What size are the finished blocks intended to be.  Will their be pattern sheets or are we just redrafting them. I can't wait to get started.
