I need to practice my hand applique but didn't want to ruin these practicing.  The flowers themselves are all hand made/stitched...I can stitch just not applique lol

Erin, lovely block!  Nice and colorful.  I do have a bunch made but will end up making special ones for this.

I decided to use white on white for the background squares and then I thought rainbow colors so I got 20 fat quarters and hope that this will pull all the blocks together.  What do you think?

and this is my first appliqué too!

Beautiful block, I love your colors Sandy!

Cupcake is here for the weekend while her parents are moving into their new house.  She told me that she is getting a new bedroom and that she needs me to make nwew curtains and blanket (she calls quilts blankets).   I am quite sure that is her mother's doing as I just made her curtains, sheet and wall hanging for Easter.  She has a few different quilts for her bed already and they are her favorite colors and character---Hello Kitty.   I may go head and make her a pillow out of the flower block I made and make another for my sampler quilt....this kid sure keeps me busy!

Sandy,

You may get more than one a month if everyone finishes theres ahead of time, but i dont want anyone to feel pressurised since so many of us have several quilts on the go at any one time. Its always fun getting to know new people, and keep up to date with others, I think Kris and Barbara are part of the furniture theyve been on QCA so long.

lots of love

Hmmm, girls, how does that make you feel?  A little old and dusty?  LOL

Sandy, I love your cheerful pink hexie flowers!
