Have a look at these quilts on the sue daley site http://suedaleydesigns.typepad.com/my_weblog/2010/07/ I especially love the Double wedding ring, although this pattern has always scared me i think with EPP i would try it (after the sampler quilt)

lots of love

Frances, I inheritated  a quilt form my late mil ,that looks just, like this quilt, the main color in it is pink. I have to be very careful with it as the ends ar beginning to fray, Maybe someday in the future ,I will be able to make one of these.

This site was nice ,but my puter is acting strange today, due to some high winds . I'll go and check it out later when I'm on my desk  computer ,but its looks like a fun blog ..Barbara

Frances,

I really like her blog. I've recently starteda Double Wedding Ring Pickle dish quilt of my own design. It will be my first attempt at DWR even though I've been planning one for over four years.

Thanks Fances, I saw this was printed from  EQ5 ,so I think I'll just print mine for my EQ7,so I can adjust the size.    I also worled on some more flowers for the GFG wall hanging ,Only have two more to make and I can start putting it together.  Barbara

This is the five I have finished so far,  two more to go .then I can put together.

thanks Frances, I see a problem though ,a couple of my flowers,  the contrast is not very good , or at least they look that way in the pictures.  I'll need to be more aware of that on the next go round ..

Barbara,

your blocks are lovely. Sometimes subtle contrast works. If you like it it's fine.

Okay for those asking the next block will be Tumbling blocks, free template here http://incompetech.com/graphpaper/tumblingblock/ where it says block size you need to put in 2.00 and that will bring it out to 2 inch diamonds you will need 18 diamonds and 3 different fabrics a light, medium and dark if you dont have light medium and dark they dont tumble so well.

I plan on putting new blocks on the first of each month.

lots of love
