Joy:Here is my block 3. I like the way this one came out. My DH picked the fabrics!
I like it Joy. I like the fabrics in your vial and the leaning book.
Thank you everyone. Looking at the photo I see somethings I might frog and try again, but all and all I'm pleased.

Robin, I think we all see the 'flaws' in our own work so much more than anyone else. I certainly have them in my blocks! LOL I look at it from across the room and if it looks good from there then I keep it. If not, then it's time for a redo. So far there have not been many redo's to do. ;-)

I have been following this discusion group and I really love looking at the blocks you ladies have done. They are all so wonderful and creative. I'm Hoping to start this project next week. But right now I'm working on a paper peice wedding ring pillow and paper peiced memory quilt.
I one of those people addicted to paper peicing.
Hint that might help some of you. I use color pencil to keep my colors straight on complicated pieces.
Here are my blocks.
Dara Beth. Your blocks look great. I like your choice of fabrics.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
Thanks Judy. I really liked the way the black & white book turned out. Hedwig came out ok too but wasn't really what I wanted. The LQS didn't have what I wanted so I settled for the white with the blue in it. I hope someday to be able to modify the patterns the way you have been doing. I think that will take a bit yet though.. :o)

They're beautiful Dara Beth. I love the soft greens and the black and white. Nicely done.
Beautiful job, Dara Beth! Love the soft green with Hedwig, and your black and white book is terrific! The vase looks like something is bubbling in it. Good Job!
Max
Thanks Kris. I love greens. They are so fresh and 'growing'.
Max, thanks! That was the effect I was looking for with the vase. Glad to know it worked ;o)
