WOW Kris....great blocks. I really like the books in week 3 and love what you did with Hedwig's head area. Very nice.

Kris:

Here are my blocks. These weren't too bad to make. Hedwig takes time but the pattern is fairly straightforward. the hardest part is choosing fabrics.

Marque,

your blocks look great. There's no need to redo them. We're all going to have amazing quilts at the end.

I love the fabric on your leaning book.

Joy:

Kris, I agree totally; the choosing the fabric is the hardest part! Between the audition fabrics and the little bits of paper and fabric scraps, my studio looks like an F5 tornado struck! And I have only finished block 11 today!

Here is my block 11. I think I have to adjust the settings on my camera; its taking horrible pictures.

Great job Joy!   Love the fabrics.  This paper piecing is getting to be addictive isn't it...  LOL

OK ?   Barbara ?  OK ?  What do you mean ?  It is terrific!!!!   You did a great job.  The contrast really makes Hedwig stand out.  Did you use that same background before?  I'll have to go back and see what you did before.  WTG

barbara, you are a woman after my own heart, i love your background with  the owl

my owl is a hunch back,  i was so disgusted, i forgot to take a picture.  i'll try to remember one tomorrow.  he's going to be a redo.  and yes my room, my poor clean studio looks like a tornada hit it
