OK Judy. Good luck with the class. I think you'll have your "aha" moment soon. You're not dense.

Barbara, that is beautiful. I love it. Was that from the Craftsy online class? I bought the paper piecing class but havn't accessed it yet. Have you done any other paper piecing?

Judy, no this is my very first one ,and yes it was from the Craftsy class, it really helps if you can have the class going when you do the first project ,cause you will need to refer to it many times, and she can go alittle fast, it really great that we can pause it to keep up with her. you're going to love it .Barbaa

Thanks. I'm looking forward to giving it a try. I really like that pattern. Right now I'm focused on step 6 of Bonnie Hunters Orca Mystery Quilt. Step 5 took me forever....and ever..... but finally completed it last night. Step 6 is going much faster and I may have it finished by Friday. Then I'll jump onto the Craftsy class and see if I can make sense of paper piecing.

I borrowed a book from my MIL called 365 foundation paper piece projects.  I love this book!   I made a pincushion for my secret santa this year, and the mariner's compass quilt that i am currently hand quilting is also paper pieced.....I want to do a broken star that is paper pieced as well.  I haven't checked into the craftsy class yet. been so busy with work, and dr's and surgeries that I havent' really had a chance....maybe soon though!

Barbara, you first pp block is wonderful. I have purchased the Craftsy class, but haven't gotten there yet. I just got my couching foot and finished my stitch bible so will do the stupendous Stitches project then move on. I am trying to get organized in my mind with what I want to accomplish this year. I am excited about the pp so am really looking forward to it. I think Kris' idea of a sampler is great , expecially since she is on here all the time to help us.
