Post inspiration photos or ideas for group projects in this thread.

If you find a good link please share it here as well. I will compile a list in "pages". Thanks.

If you don't have an actual PP project in mind yet, you can find PP blocks to try at Quilt Blocks Galore.  Click into the alphabetized list or block size list to find hundreds of patterns.

Thanks Nancy. Quilter's Cache is a wonderful site for all types of blocks.

Paper Panache is another good site. The focus is paper piecing. She offers free projects but some of them are very complicated. Great for inspiration though.

Hi Everybody,

I am so very new to PP that I checked out MN Nancys link and found a great Tutoral on Practice paper peicing. Printed it off and going to try it out. Looks very basic and easy for the beginner.  :) Thank you for the link. Will post results of my first peice.

Thank you Kris...

Here is my first paper peicing try. I did it with a few scraps. LOVE doing this!!! Gonna have to move onward to a little more difficult sq. :)

Might have to turn this into a mug rug or pin cushion. :)

This looks really good Debbie. I've been playing around with a PP sampler of sorts. I'll post it when I get done (probably later in the week). See what you all think.

I think you'll do fine Barbara. Just let us know if you need help and share if you make anything.

I made the quilt a few years ago because my youngest daughter pretty much challenged me to do it.   It was my first and only paper piece to date mostly because I have been busy doing other things.    It was a lot of fun and I learned alot from the many mistakes I made, so I am hoping by joining this group I will pick back up on the adventure    Robin
