Thank you for helping me out Dara Beth. I really wanted to send this as a surprise package but it sounds like I better air on the side of safety and make sure he can have it first. His Yellow Ribbon Ceremony is next weekend...maybe I can ask someone there without him knowing....

WOW< What a beautiful pattern and all these itsy bitsy pieces. She does great work.
Love the site. It's amazing how small those pieces are.
Stupid question when a pattern says match points does all paper piecing patterns have match points or only ones with arcs?
I am working on doing a remembrance quilt and some of the blocks are easier with paper piecing than any other route. I was getting a refresher on how to piece them together from one of the pages and the it said something about match points. I was just wondering if it was in all paper piecing patterns or just some of them with curves?
When the pattern says "match points" it it referring to any points that come together in the design (tops of triangles or even the corners of squares). A curved design might have reference points to make it easier for you.
In the pattern you're making paper piecing might help you get those points to match since you have the lines to follow as you sew. In this case you would leave the paper on until after you've joined your pieces.
Thanks Kris, I was wondering what they meant exactly. Very rusty lol when it comes to this technique but I am finally back into doing it correctly after the second and first block mis steps lol.
I don't know if anyone has posted this or seen it but I found this link to HP stuff this morning.
Thanks for the link Joy. A lot of the quilting patterns on this site were designed by Jennifer from "Sew Hooked". I'll be looking at the crochet and needlework a bit later.
Hi everyone. Are there any new paper piecing projects you would like to work on together? We still have some working on Harry Potter and others working on the compass BOM. Let us know if you're not doing either one and have something in mind.
