Here is my block 10. Somehow I missed 1 yellow piece when I cut it out and had to find the exact same yellow. But I have not been good about putting scraps "away" so It took a while. Now on to the next one.

Dara , beauitufl block I love the colors you used, I agree with kris ,that the endsp point whatever will not be as noticeable one you get the dborders on and get is squared up .

Pretty block Dara. Those outer points won't be so noticeable once you sew your blocks together. Good work.

Barbara, I'll be checking out the 30's prints the next time I'm at my LQS. If I get hooked on a new style of fabric (DD loves the reproductions) It will all be your fault! LOL

Here is my Holiday Compass

I was trying to get my middle lined up 'perfectly'. Well it came out good but the block would have looked better if the outer edges of the last seam had matched instead. Live & Learn.... Which is what this is all about.

Today DD & I went up to Pittsburgh to shop at Ikea & we stopped at the Joanns there. It is a much bigger store than we have here, but I still couldn't find what I wanted. Can you believe that I didn't buy a thing? It's true. Not one single thing.
