The teacup was fun to put together. Didn't have any tea fabric though so leaned on the coffee stash.

WTG Jen!! I love what you did with your block. The result of all of the fussing you had to do with it is wonderful. I love the way the howler is floating in the air above & between the books.

MNJen. Your block is awesome!! I can't say enough, I really love it. Now I wish I'd used the Howler in my HP quilt. (too late, it's quilted and hung) I like the way you placed the Howler over the open book.

Lots of starts and restarts on this #25 block which is my first attempt at pulling in something not in the original PoD pattern set. The howler was sooo cool I just had to work it in. I wholeheartedly recommend tracing the pattern and tweaking it to make sure the seams line up right (section B especially) and make sure you join section B to C first, then BC>A, then ABC>DEF. I messed with this for days but I'm sure the DS will dig it.

I don't think it's too dark. Not all books have white edges. Good job on it! Everytime I see this open book, I think moths should be flying up out of it! LOL! I have no idea why, there is just something about it that makes me think that!

Block 25... not the greatest but its done. Think the open book is to dark, but not all the blocks are gonna be the 'eye catchers' I guess.
