I have to do half by hand and half by machine because my joints and hands cannot do it totally by hand.  I made 4 more hex flowers this past weekend and my pointer finger, thumb and wrist are tingling and numb, I can barely grip my soda can!  today even typing is a painful chore; I'll keep up best I can.

Barbara I think your flowers are gorgeous, cannot wait to see the wall hanging!

Erin,

Dont you worry honey, this is the tortoise and the hare race and everyone knows the tortoise wins the race, and to be honest its the first time ever that ive finished a block before everyone else, but that might have something to do with im showing everyone else so i have too. :-))

lots of love

Everyone has done a great job on their flower garden block! I am still working on my first one. I have been on a road trip this past week and had prepared a lot of paper pieces to work on in the car but just enjoyed the scenery along the way instead. I have been sick with some stomach bug and have not felt like working on anything, which made me think of Thea and all she gets done and wondered what my problem was. I do love EPP though and need to get some background fabric for this project. Did I read there were going to be around 25 blocks?  Thanks again Frances for starting this project!

Bev,

I hope you feel better soon, it really sucks when you dont even feel well enough to sew.

Yes you did read right 25 of these little loves to do, that should keep you out of trouble for a little while.

Get better soon sweetie.

lots of love

Thanks Frances, I am feeling better this afternoon and after unpacking I found my "practice piece" started before my trip and decided to sit and finish it to post pic. How was your Holiday?

Thanks everyone  for all the kind words, you Guys just can't see the stitches that are showing through the front. That is why I am calling it my practice piece.lol

Frances and Barbara, I did find that using copy paper worked better for me than card stock so thanks for the tip. I am thinking about buying some precuts though.

Hope all are having a wonderful day!
