Don't know if you all were aware that Quilting on the Square has posted 6 Bonus Blocks on the Compass Collection page that are available for a short time.  I may have to make them.  There is a Santa one that is too cute!

Lisa, here's the link for the first 12 blocks  http://www.quiltingonthesquare.com/compass-collection.aspx

If you've never done paper-piecing before there are some links on the right side of that page for basic instructions.

I posted about the bonus blocks in the general discussion before reading this. LOL

The blocks will be taken down soon so download and save them before it's too late.

Jacy thank you much for the link.. i got them all downloaded and saved including the bonus blocks.. and instructions on paper piecing.. Wow i found a different tumbler pattern and instruction.. i have a tumbler template i got from Nancy's Notions . it also came with a hexagon template too.. so i am going to make a tumbler quilt for my youngest son in purples, blues and blacks.. his favorite colors.. i didnt know what desing i was going to use but then i saw her show with the tumbler and decided i am going to make the blocks like that.. i hope he will like it.. gonna try to get it done by either his bday or christmas .. might just be a present for both since his bday is so close to xmas.. lol

hope everyone has a good evening and is staying dry and warm.

thanks again

Lovely.  The colors work so well together Barbara.

Barbara:

Well here is my last block ,this one has lots of peieces and alot of fabric buildup even though I did  open my seams there were places it was hard to stitch. I have one spot that is off but I'm not gonna redo it .I think my sashing will cover it . Barbara
