Zsofia,
You have the most magical fabrics! They are perfect for this quilt.

ok... have block 16 done as my block 14. :)
My order is gonna be a little different.
Pretty block Debbie. I like your broom fabric and the tiny owls on the green and white.
lmao... I didn't know that was a broom!?? Thought it was a bookmark ribbon. haaa haa haa.... I see it now tho. lol Ok I have a white and golden broom. (That will make the quilt mine. lol lol)
Was gonna use the owl material on the book with Hedwig. But it was to light. Glad I was able to fit it in.
Thanks Kris... (still giggleing.)

LOL Debbie,
it can be a bookmark if you want; works either way.
Debbie,
Ahhh...I want little owl material, too!! It is so cute!! Pretty colors, and I really like your bookmark! Don't feel bad! There have been a several things in this project I never did know for sure what they were until someone told me! And I had read the books and seen the movies...

Here is my Week 17. I wanted to use Scabbers in my quilt, so I used him to replace the WWW Bag. The pattern for Scabbers came from another website, www.quiltiger.com, in the Halloween themed patterns. I need to add some whiskers before I can call him finished, but I think I will wait until I've finished quilting.
ohhhhhhh Max ...Scabbers is cute!!! Excellent choice of fabric for his fur too. :) The stripe fabric in the book is cool too.
The owl material I used in the book I got at joanns. Just bought 1/4 yard of it.
I want to try a Scabbers. And Crookshanks. Think I found a cat for that, but she is a bit more pointy then the one in the movie. She is sleeping on a book. But the next block I do will be the Cauldron tho. I think it has to go 'under' the owl. lol If I put scabbers there Hedwig would hurt him....And Crookshanks has to stay away from Scabbers and Trevor too. Am I overthinking this? ;p

Max,
I'm loving your Scabbers and the funky fabrics in this blocks. WTG.
The only animals that had problems with each other in the books were Crookshanks and Scabbers. I think in the final book it was alluded to that Crookshanks knew Scabbers wasn't really a rat, but was a ratfink...that was why she kept trying to catch him. That is one reason I didn't put Crookshanks on my quilt...that and I haven't found a pattern that really got me excited as fitting for Crookshanks. I guess if I find one, I can add her to the back? Hiding and waiting for poor old Scabbers!
Yes, you can overthink this project!! Pretty soon it will consume your entire brain!
Kris,
Thank you! Hope you are studying hard and learning lots...we miss you!
Studying hard but not sure I'm retaining anything. I'd rather be quilting.
Hang in there Kris, you'll be done and back to your machine before you know it.
Nice block Debbie, I love your broomstick book.
Max great scabbers.
Just finished the Weasley Suitcase. :)
