Dara Beth thanks for the kind word on my block . Barbara
Great looking block Dara Beth. Good contrast with your colors.
Thanks everyone !
This block was a learning experience. I tried finger pressing instead of using the iron. If you look you'll see that my points are not matching as well as they should. So lesson 1 is to press with the iron always! Lesson 2 was that I shouldn't be so lazy and try to use the same color thread ( I use a light taupe ) for everything. For these I need to switch to black thread. :o) Oh well, this is why I am doing this. To learn. So, yipee, I'm Learnin' !!!!
If you don't like the thread after you have sewn it, just use a permanent marker on the thread where it shows. Gail in NH
Great idea Gail! I will have to try that. I also always use the same color thread for piecing too.
