Finally got the Week 5 Block finished! Don't know what took so long because it was a simple block. The block next to it is the one I think I will use as a replacement for the set of books in Week 10. I think I need to do a little adjustment on the bottle's neck! Max
Great bottle Max, love that 'disgusting' liquid' in the bottle!
Great Blocks Max. Love your fabric choices and especially the bottle!

Thank you, Dara and Jacy! Does kind of remind you of a science project gone bad, doesn't it!

Pretty blocks Max.
Finished Week 6! I think the gunk in the bottom of the test tube is hatching dragonflys. I changed the level of stuff in the tube so I could get a few more flies in tube. I picked a fabric for the cork that was too close in color to the background. I used a perm. marking pen, used for labels, to shade the cork so it will stand out from the background better. I'm dreading starting the TimeTurner block, but it will be the next one I do. Max
Nice work Max. I like the dragonflies in the test tube.
Judy,
And I was complaining about the glasses. I can't imagine how difficult that monster book is. It awaits me after I finish up the owl (haven't started it yet). Love the Gryffinder head also. I may do him as well. GReat job.

I finally got block 6 done.
Pretty block Dara Beth. I like your fabrics.
Thanks Kris, it sure was nice to have an easy block for a change :-)
Max. I love your bugs! How clever!!!
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
Dara,
Pretty fabrics! And I love the bubbles in the test tube! These bottles and vases and tubes are fun to see what you can put in them.
Thank you, Kris, Dara, and Judy!
These blocks are fun to see what little treasures can be added to them. The further I go with this project the more I think I'm going to have to keep this one for myself!
I kind of have an idea cooking in my head for the backing. Some days I have myself talked out of it, others days it seems like SUCH a good idea! Can't quite make my mind up yet.
