First block and gave freezer paper circle making a try.  Easier than I thought it would be and I like how it turned out all swirly.  Neat fabric find.

Very nice Jen. Yes your crystal ball fabric is fabulous.

Thanks Kris!  The background fabric for #2 Hufflepuff son's quilt arrived and I was able to stealth sew a few blocks last week while one of them was home on spring break.  Geez, it's exhausting being sneaky.  They whip down the basement stairs to where I'm sewing so fast I can hardly hide stuff in time {lol}.  Here are the first two.
