Nunca es tarde, yo voy atrasadísima pero espero terminar algún día, es un relax no un stress. Disfruta hacerlo
I have all of my blocks pieced finally. I'm hoping to finish this quilt in the first half of this year.
Congrats!! Doesn't it feel good to have them all done? I'll be watching for your completed quilt top.
Yay Robin. Looking forward to photos.
A few of us will be picking this up again in March. The goal is to tackle one assignment per month. If there are any more of you wanting to join in please feel free. The links to the patterns can be found HERE. This link can also be found if "Pages" if you need to find it again.
I'm in and plugging away, but have to say that snitch block was trickier than I thought it would be!
Glad to know you're with us Jen.
I didn't get any work done on mine over the past weekend but hope to this coming weekend.
Be sure to post photos when you get done. From the groups home page adjust "Sorting and Filtering" to see all the old threads.
I'm working on block 9 with the books and the snitch. My biggest issue was with the directional fabric that I used for the books. I know everything is backwards but I finally got it the way I wanted. I've got all of the sections finished. I did the ones with the snitch tonight. Hopefully I will be able to start putting the sections together tomorrow.

Since you're both working on the snitch block, I'll work on that one this weekend as well.
I'm hoping to get pictures of my blocks into the threads over the next few days. It's tough since I'm doing this on the sly for my boys who are crazy HP fans, with hopes to do a quilt for each for Christmas. Nuts?...yeah, but it's fun to have a secret. And then we had a snow day yesterday so I was cranky because I lost my "me" time and couldn't sew with them around the house. And now spring breaks are around the corner and they'll cramp my style some more. Aggh!
LOL Jen. You'll just have to sew after they've gone to bed.
I've finished block 9. I'll post the picture in the thread for that block. Come on Kris & Jen. I can't wait to see yours.
Is there a thread for oddball blocks that ladies chose to do instead of the prescribed PoD assignment? I gave the mumbly bumbly whatever it's called cactus thing a try on Friday and liked how it turned out. I absolutely refused to do all those little pieces of red, instead using a fabric that had green and orange in it. Worked ok. Picture to come later. I've got my eye on that Triwizard Cup, too, with a white or light blue fairy frost for the glass part. Not sure how to get the lettering on it, though. That's rumbling around the beanie for later.
if you want to substitute blocks just post them in the thread for the block you decide to leave out.
I plan on making the Triwizard cup as well. I think Harry would definitely have that on his bookshelf.
