hello we're back and no we did not disappear from the face of the earth we just took a small quilting break.
this is the smaller cat lover who's typing this right now because I'm very happy I JUST FINISHED BLOCKS 1 AND 2 THIS MORNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had to re print the skinny book with the diagonal strips at least 3 times uggggggggggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i thought that the crystal ball was going to be much harder than it was and i was on the last piece and i almost had to start over.
i will take a pick as soon as i post this and post it after. i am just about to print block 3 pattern I'm signing off for now.
told ya i would post it i'll post block 3 when I'm done

they are a mother daughter team. They're each making a quilt.

Hello All - just wanted to post my backing fabric for the quilt. I found it on eBay (and didn't cost an arm and a leg :) LOL)... My 6 year old will be thrilled
It's a panel kit and I will have to add a 3rd border to make it to the right size. Now I just have to finish a few blocks.

That panel will be beautiful on the back of your quilt. Your blocks have such beautiful bold colors and patterns you need a dramatic back to balance the quilt. Great choice!
