I just printed out several blocks and the bottom of the page is cut off on every longer block segment. I did scaling - none. I sent an email to the designer and she is going to get back with me. I did find out they have a facebook page too! http://www.facebook.com/Sewhooked?sk=wall
Is anyone else having this problem?

No problems yet Joy. I saved all the PDFs on my computer and will print when I get ready to make the blocks. The previews look like they'll print fine.
Joy I have printed several and I've not had any problems ,hope you get them all worked out . Barbara
EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Its probably because my printer is 9 years old! Jennifer from sewhooked said she had a few with the same issue. I'm hoping she can help. If not, I wonder if the library would let me use the Carol Doak paper to print them. hmmm
It's only the last 1/2 on the bottom that's not showing.
Just wanted to share the response I received from Jennifer at SewHooked:

If you print a pattern with a unit that goes from the top of the block to the bottom (on week one, you can use the last page), those should measure 10" inside the seam allowance from top to bottom (with seam allowance, they are 10 1/2" long).
If they measure a little off, or you want to use scaling to get all the pattern pieces in, you can make each block work by adding a little to the top and one of the sides with your background fabric so they come to 10 1/2". Week 21 and 22 are the only two blocks that are continuous and need to match up, so you have a lot of wiggle room to make each block work.
Thanks for letting us know Joy.
I am probably the only one having issues...and the only one who refuses to spend money on a new printer because I want to save the money for my dream sewing machine!!! LOL!
alright already, i'm all printed out and ready to go. they didn't print exactly to scale and the bottoms of a lot were cut off, but i think i can fudge it that little bit.

are we working at our own pace? are we making a block a week or a month? i'm excited to get started. i'll be on the lookout for some jellybeans and spiderwebs for a couple of the blocks. this is a big project.
Gini, We start on March 1st and doing two blocks a month . That is was Kris wrote at the start of this thread. Barbara
Gini,
Ill be opening threads for the block assignments as we go. We'll start with two per month but can change depending on progress.
Gini, I finally got my patterns to print decent. If you haven't printed out all the patterns, I thought this would help. (Or anyone else having printer issues).
When I opened the pattern week in Adobe I can't the printer settings to legal size paper. When I clicked to print, I used the "current page" only. printed and moved to the next page and did the same. Boy I hope that made sense!
This was a slow process but at least the blocks are printed well. It took me about 2 hours to print them all.
Hi Gini,
I had trouble understanding the sentence that starts "When I opened the pattern week...." Thanks for your help. Gail71
If they pages are cut off for the patterns you can simply reduce them by the same percentage if your printer settings allow. Printing at 90% of even 95% would make them small enough to fit on one page.
I haven't had any trouble printing the patterns but I haven't printed them all yet.
Todos vamos a trabajar al mismo tamaño de bloques? cual es este ? 10" y el resultado final también es algo estandarizado o puede cada uno hacer lo que desee? Perdón pero es primera vez que yo trabajo en grupo por internet. Gracias Ninette
