Barbara:
So are we going to do the Moonglow next year ?

Looks like it. We have a few people wanting to do it and having a free pattern is nice.

Barbara:
You all have a great time and we'll look foward to all the reports and I'll try and do the same

I plan to have a great time. We'll look for your reports.

Just curious since I am doing my first paper piecing on a table runner, has anyone ever done any  paper piecing by hand?

Yes. I have. I backstitch more often than I do regular hand piecing. I've used the same paper as for machine quilting but I moisten it a bit before tearing it off. I pull outwards rather than towards me to minimise the stress on my stitches.

I have tried paper towels as well but it's not so good when frogging is needed.

Thanks Kris,

I was hoping you could because I thought it would work for keeping the seams straight for someone who wanted to piece a quilt by hand. I bet your term frogging definition is different from mine. I will look it up. lol

Ninette ,if we just do one block a month it will not be so expensive. Most of these blocks don't use alot of fabric.  But then you can really use any fabric on these ,some darker batiks would work just fine .. Barbara

Max. OMG. Your Harry Potter is great. You did an incredible job on the bookcase.

What are you going to do with it?
