OK fellow paper piecers. Have you heard of the "Harry Potter Project of Doom"? This was a mystery BOW quilt from Jennifer Ofenstein of sewhooked. It is a paper piecing project that produces a very unique quilt. Harry Potter fans (I am one) should love it.
I downloaded it last year but never got around to making any of it. I was going through my patterns looking for something else when I stumbled upon it. I would like to attempt this as a group project. What say you?
Some of the patterns are challenging but I'm sure we can get through it. This should be fun. We can make it a 2 block per month project. You can omit any blocks you find too difficult but I think you will be remiss if you didn't try them all. I will post the link to the patterns in "pages" let me know what you think. We can get started next month if everyone is up for it.
Let me know.
There is also a project for "Lord of the Rings" fans called "There and Back Again".
Kris I am a fan of both , would love to try them .Barbara
EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Kris this gal has a awesome web site , just signed up for her newletter ,thanks Barbara
Kris, Would love to be part of the fun! Gail71
That's great ladies. After you look at the patterns let me know if a two block per month schedule is OK with you.

Wow, Kris, that is an awesome pattern. You are the paper piecing guru, what do YOU think? I suppose if I could do 350 little thingys in one week for Bonnie Hunter, I could do two paper piecing blocks in a month. What the heck, I say go for it.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
Thanks Judy. I'm still working on those blasted triangle. Seems like I'll never get done.
Two a month it is. I'll set up a thread and we can get started in March (of course you can start any time you want). This should be fun.
Thanks Kris this will be fun..Barbara
Sounds like fun. I'd like to join.
I would like to join too. But not sure on how to go about it.??
Tylea,
you're already in the group. I'll open a thread for each block all you need to do is make yours and share your progress. Thanks for playing.
I like this idea, but will have to work on the blocks around other projects. But give it a go.
where do i get the blocks?
gini in north idaho
Gini,
I put the link in "pages". I'll also put the links in each block thread. Will you be joining us?
