Welcome Kathy.

We have some projects in progress. Just check out "Pages and see where you'd like to jump in. If you already have a project in mind share your progress and ask questions when/if you need help.

Hi,

I'm Mary from New Hampshire, and I love to ski, quilt and am learning to knit. I enjoy paper piecing and saw some finished blocks at the last quilt get together run by Gail71! She always inspires us for new projects so I thought I would jump in.

Hi Mary, welcome to QCA and PP'g.  What kind of ski'g do you do?  Downhill or cross-country?  Hope you enjoy visiting here...it's a great group of very supportive quilters!

Hi Mary,

So glad to see you part of the group.  Hope that you will have time to get going with the blocks.

Hi Donna,

Thanks for the welcome!  I ski downhill. I use to do both but only downhill now! Easier on the knees! I am enjoying seeing what everyone is doing with these blocks and all the color combos

pp is not something that I have done. I'd like to learn because you all make it sound so fun. The intricate work that you can achieve from this type of piecing is absolutely breath-taking. I love it. I'm finishing a quilt-as-you-go quilt. Not really thrilled with the way the back looks, but that's the way it goes.

Hi all - I am new to your group and love PP. Mater of fact - when I am doing a complicated block - it is the method of my choice. Look forward to learning what you all are doing and sharing.

Welcome Betty.

We have a few projects going. If you go to "pages" you'll see a list of the group projects. Some are all paper piecing while others incorporate some hand piecing and/or English Paper piecing. Feel free to jump in anywhere.

Hi,  Welcome and glad to have you join us.  My favorite blocks that we are doing can be found at www.quiltingonthesquare.com.  They are free and look very complicated.  I have several in my quilt group waiting for the beginning of the month when the next one comes out.  The thing that newbie pp like is that it tells you which line to sew on each time by labeling the line rather than just the section.  Have fun as it's a great group.
