Welcome Jan G.
Come on over and join in on the Harry Potter fun.
Hi, I am Jude and I love to paper piece. I have never join a PP group before so glad to be with others who share the same addictions. I live in Georgetown,Texas and have had join surgery on my thumbs so quilting is always difficult at best But can do the PP without too much damage to self. I have been quilting since the 70's on and off and have the fabric to prove it. So looking forward to meeting you and sewing with you. Jude
Welcome Jude,
It's good to have you with us. Take a look around and jump in on one of our projects or if you are already working on something feel free to share.
Okay, I just tried PP for the first time, talk about confusing, but watched a couple of video's think I have a better grasp of it. need more practise before I start on the project I want to do.

Thanks Gini.
Hi. My name is Sharon and I'm interested in learning how to do PP. It looks like it would be helpful to make points match up better, which I always seem to have to struggle to do. The feathered star blocks are beautiful. So far I found the pattern for 5, 6, and 7. Are 1, 2, and 3 in the threads somewhere? Where can I find them? I look forward to learning from this group.
Hi Sharon,
welcome to the group. This site defaults to show posts up to two months old. To see the other posts you need to adjust the "sorting and filtering". YOu do this from the page that lists all the "discussions"
You can also look for "tags" down the right side of the group's home page.
There are other projects listed in "Pages" as well as links to sites group members have found. A couple projects are also provided in the group's blog.
I hope you have a good time with us and look forward to seeing some of your work.
Thank you Kris. I found the patterns with your help. Sharon
Hello to all, I am signed up on Craftsy in the paperpiecing class as a start. I love the aspect of using strips and chain piecing. It seems to make the process more fun. Has anyone else used this method before? I am just getting started I look forward to the discussions.
Tammy G.
Welcome Tammy. A couple of our members took that same class on Craftsy. I have the book but did not take the class. If you look in our media folder you'll see some of the projects that were made.
Please feel free to share your work as well.
