Sharon your top is beautiful with the use of 2 blues it looks tranquil to me!!!

Nana thank you for such a great mystery!!!  I started out not liking my colors choices now I love how it looks.  Love this pattern I never make a pattern 2x but this one just may be one that I make again it is so unique and beautiful!!!!!

Sharon you made me want to get mine together so worked all afternoon and into the night and it is done.  The colors are a little deeper in real life but tried to take at night and it is so dark upstairs where my space for sewing is but here it is Step 5 done.  Now what to do about borders or no borders hummm?

Here is my top so far. I made a smaller version so it is 5 x 5. I am going to put a small border in either the blue or purple from the multi print, then use some orphan HSTs and background fabric for another border. I wanted to make this from my stash but I don't have what I need for the inner border so will make a run to the LQS later today.

Christine and Pat -- Lovely quilts!

I almost did mine all from my stash but with the border that I decided to do I needed just a little more fabric. So I got that yesterday and ordered some backing online. When that comes, plus the thread for quilting it, I'll get the whole thing done and post a picture then.  Going to babysit my 3 week old granddaughter today (Yea!) and tomorrow is autumn leaf looking with my boyfriend, so I'll get back to quilting on Monday.  Have a happy day, everyone!

Sue from Tx, Christine and Pat - loving all ya'll's quilt tops - great job ladies.  I did get one more block done but still haven't finished all the HSTs.  I know I'm not going to be thru in time for the judging.

Christine, Pat

Love your quilts. I'll try and get mine done, but don't know if I can.

Do we need to have it quilted and with binding for the voting, or the finished top with borders?
