I signed up with Chrome a long time ago (when Exploder started having trouble) and have never been happier.  It works well with my phone and Android and QCA and facebook.. I highly recommend going with Chrome.

Thanks Peggy.  I am going to work through chrome and firefox.  No matter what I do with internet explorer I can't get it to work.  I hate bouncing back and forth but it is the only way I can do it.

Marsha

I don't know which fabric I like best for the background.  The dark may actually work out best.

Hi,

Here goes. I hadn't shown my step 2 yet. Still have a few bg/#1's left to trim.

Hello, I am a little confused on wher to post images of progress.  I posted 2 images in media, but see many photos is the discussions area of the group site.  I hope I am doing this correctly.  I spent the weekend working on Step 2 and this is the result.  Using the 3-7/8" squares, I have 168 sewn and squared up 3-1/2" squares of my white background fabric combined with Fabric #1 which is black; I also have two Fabric #2's as I did not have enough of one to do all 84 cuts.  So I have 42 squares of the combination of background (white) and first Fabric #2 RED and 42 combined HST squares of Fabric #1-black with second Fabric #2, PINK.  I think I sewed them together correctly.  I am now caught up to everyone else, and working on Step 3 this week.  Yay!  This is fun and am anxious to see how it will come together!

Laura

We usually post are works in progress in the threads and then we post our tops in the media section.   Your pieces are looking really pretty.

Ah, great!  I will post progress in the threads from now on.  Thank you Nana.  I had other plans for this fabric, but thought it might be fun to use it in a quilt for my sitting room.  I usually make quilted Home Dec items such as table runners, wall hangings, placemats, pillows and bags.  I have made a few quilts from other peoples' patterns using circles or doing applique for my grandchildren.  This is actually my first quilt using HST so I'm anxious to see how it turns out. I'm happy to be giving this a try.

Nana, I am finally finished with step 2! Yay for me :) getting ready to start step 3. That puts me a week behind, hopefully step 4 will have a little less work. All the pressing and trimming of the HST's was very time consuming. I can't wait to start step 3. The yellow is background, pink crown #2, pink floral #3

So I finally got Step 2 done!  from the top, Background/Fabric 1; Background/Fabric 2; Fabric 1/Fabric 2.  Gotta take a break so I can whip out my $5 quilt block for this month.  Hopefully, I can get back on this by the weekend! :0)
