I'm almost ready for the 3rd step, YEAH!  I finished my background/fabric 2 today.  I'll post a pic tomorrow.  I decided to use the tube method so I had more cutting but I love that method!  Hopefully I'll get fabric1/fabric2 done before the weekend is over and could get to step 3 during the week.  Hope step 3 is not as time consuming as 2 was.  Maybe Nana will give us 2 weeks if it is.  Just saying!  :  )

I don't think it is possible for any step to be as time consuming as step 2....LOL.

PennyWyo:

All ready for Step 3, Nana!  Can't wait.  Here is my first one.  Will probably do an inner border in purple.

Love this!

Hmmm - that's a nice thought!  Mine helps me with the "math" so maybe I better not push it!  LOL

Everyone has such pretty choices that it would be hard to chose my favorite, surely NOT mine (below).  Penny, I especially like your 2nd choice and the sage would be a perfect inner border.

Here are a few of my HSTs in each color combination.  I have plenty of each fabric to make any one of them the background.  I had originally chosen the light lavender as background, but when standing back, the dark print stood out so that I now think that should be the one!  The green woven-look seems much lighter than when up close, so maybe either fabric 1 or fabric 2.  Any suggestions?  I can cut a lot of HSTs until I have to make my decision.  I need your input on this.

I decided to post this here as well as in General Discussion and Chit Chat.  This IS step 2, even though I haven't really made a final decision on the placement of fabrics or if I should change one of them to an entirely different one. HELP!

I haven't peeked at step 3 yet.  Maybe that would help me decide.

Your fabric choice is lovely Marsha SM.

I have AOL and cannot sign up to view QCA.  I have tried everything Administration has told me to do.  I can sign up in Chrome to login.  So frustrating to do things this way.  Any one else who has AOL that found this problem?

Hi, Helen. I dont have AOL, didnt even know it existed anymore. But I have to sign in through chrome, and I hated it at first but now I am getting use to it. And actually having problems with some other sites and chrome seems to help there to,,,, so I am slowly converting over. But on my phone all I can do is read the post, and respond or open the pics. so I have to take everyones word that they are lovely

Helen,

I have AOL as well and log in to QCA daily from it.  Well as long as they are there. I do seem to remember an Internet Explorer problem that resulted in having to make some adjustments.  I use Firefox as my internet connection.
