Sheila

This is great!, I love your variation, if I make another I might try it this way.

Thank you Nana. I'm glad I got my top done in time and posted. Everyone's quilts are so pretty it will be hard to decide on a favorite.

Thank you so much Nana. There are so many beautiful colour combinations this will be a very hard choice.   I have 4 rows to attach, this is the closest I have come to finishing on time lol.  Here it is so far.

Alas,

missed the deadline for voting. Thanks Nana for a great quilt that I hope won't b another MQ UFO.

Good job to all who got theirs done. Now to make a tough decision and select a favourite.

Sheila:
I am posting it here but not in Media; I don't think this qualifies in the voting process.  Just thought y'all might like to see a "slight" variation.

Shiela, my MQs hardly ever stay on script. I like your variation. I think it still counts.

Kris, I've always liked your variations, you inspired me to change mine up a little this year.

Sheila, my MQ is a variation too. Just have to sew the border on the last 2 sides so i can post a photo.

Kris,

Nana says that she is giving us till Monday to post pics and then she'll start taking the votes on Monday as well.  So, maybe you can get yours done and post by Monday??  If this quilt is as interesting as the civil war loyal union quilt then I am sure we all would like to see the final quilt.

Nana,

Thank you for giving us the weekend to finish.  Nov 1 just crept up on me.  I'm trying a new border that I've never done before.  It's a simple one but my calculations to fit it on the quilt is sketchy.  According to the book, the repeat is 2.83 inches which is an odd number to work with.  Plus I ran out of fabric so I'm pulling from my stash.

Thanks Jennie. I should have kept reading before I posted. I'm not sure I'll finish. I'll be playing with Marie tomorrow so it will take a big push on sunday. Doable.

You are too kind. This one is hardly interesting. I'm still trying to work out borders. Time's just running away from me.

Thanks Jacy. I can't wait to see your finished product. You have a good eye for these things.
