You can use this thread for all questions and discussions.   As for borders I am leaving those up to each individual.  In the past people have liked doing their on thing.  I hope each of you has enjoyed this journey and likes their quilts.   Please remember to post pics of your completed top in the media section.  We will decide on when to do the voting for favorite top after I get back from retreat.

Another thanks from me, Nana.  I  hope I can get the top put together by voting time!  Still sewing those HSTs together, but I just had to put together a couple blocks.  Posted those on Step 4 Discussion.

Enjoy your retreat!!!

Nana,  I don't see alternate blocks.   I only see the square one in the pic; not the pinwheel.  Am I missing something?

Jan , Nana's greens and blues look the same on the photo. If you start with the pinwheel then the square, pinwheel then square  across for 6 block.

Row 2 start with the square then the pinwheel. I think you will see the pattern. Like this

XOXOXO

OXOXOX

I hope this helped.

Making slow progress...have the HSTs stiiched FINALLY!  Tonight I will be pressing, trimming and hopefully starting on the blocks.  I have something tossing around in my head now that I've seen the final layout, but I need to decide if I can make it work or not...anyone else ever deal with that?  I'll post pictures of the blocks as soon as I have one of each done up.

Pretty Sharon. I wish I had more contrast in mine. I have only laid some of it out on the table so I could start thinking about the borders. Maybe when it is all sewn together. Thinking the right border will help bring out the colors. thinking of doing a thin border to make my yellow pop. then something bigger. I am really trying to keep this from having to much border and getting huge. haha will see how that goes

Sharon, your quilt is so pretty!  I like the contrast of the white and dark blue.
