Marilyn, check out the block on the left, I think the top right square should be fabric 1/background combo.  Am I right Nana?

Nana, it's easy...at least on my PC!  After loading the picture I've taken into my computer, when I open the picture, it opens in Windows Photo Gallery.  This program is part of the basic programs in my computer.  I bet you have some sort of photo program in yours, too.  Go to Start/All Programs and see if you have something similar.  I'm still using Vista, but I can remember XP had a different one.  Anyway, after opening the picture, look for Fix or something similar that lets you adjust the brightness, contrast, color, saturation, etc.

Glad I could help, everyone!!

Here are my blocks ready to be sewn.  The background is the green, fabric #1 is pink, and fabric #2 is paisley.  I'm loving seeing everyone's colors!

So many pretty color combinations here!  I have spent the morning admiring everyone else's fabrics - - - now to cutting more strips and getting to the sewing machine.  I woke up to a beautiful sunny day but a horrible, achy, stiff, fatigued body!!  I need to try to limber up and get sewing.  I actually have a day to sew - I escaped the trip in the truck today - he only had 2 heifers to move so didn't need my help.  If I hinted that he might need me, he would say he did - - he likes the company, but he can manage a 45 mile trip alone.  I NEED to do something else but ride in a truck on rough roads.  This old body needs a break.  The cutting board and machine are calling my name!  Should have a few blocks together by night, if life doesn't get in the way again.  I don't even have to cook.  The school is having a chicken barbecue today so grandson is bringing home 3 for us and Rich's mother.  Her helper is having a going-away party for her son who is being deployed  this week, so we have the chore of feeding his 99 yr old mom.
