Karyn: 😂😉 This husband has a 5 car garage for his "stuff" and I have a 3000 sq. ft. House for mine. Hahaha. I have a sewing house.
Gina: love those fabrics! This why I can't bear to part with fabrics to organize my sewing rooms.

Gina, your fabrics are so bright and cheerful! Love your choices!!
The colors you picked are what I have had in mind for this mystery. Finally get to go shopping tonight or tomorrow! I am hoping to get close to caught up next week, if I can get my hand to cooperate.
I lost my mom to ovarian cancer. She had previously had a hysterectomy years before and left her ovaries ... same situation. I was told that most of the time it's at stage 3 or worse and is a silent killer. I'm glad your aunt was able to identify that she carries the gene. It is only detectible in about 50% of the cases. I had the CA125 level checked in my blood and it ran so low (between 1 and 3) that insurance won't even conver getting the test as there are no other symptoms. I was told I could still have cancer and not have it show up that way. You can also get cancer after a hysterectomy unless they do a 'radical' which is what they did with my cousin who had uterine cancer. I finally decided (I really have no choice) that I couldn't obsess over it and just try and watch out for any of the 'small' indicators.
Stay aware folks and pay attention to your body. I suggest you hope on the ovarian cancer website and read about the suttle indicators.
So, I have been diligently making HSTs and as I feared...I'm running out of fabrics 1 & 2. I have plenty of background fabric, so I will be doing some creative thinking to see how to compensate for the fabric shortage. I put together HSTs for fabrics 1 & 2 and have the correct amount for those. I will put together equal numbers of background/fabric 1 and background/fabric 2 HSTs and go from there once we get further instructions on Sept 27.
I'm seeing HSTs in my dreams...literally! LOL
