I added an applique to the bottom corner. I was going to put cat silhouettes on the back and may still do that. But I found this pattern and couldn't resist it. The color is weird, the pink is really a lovely dusky rose color
That applique is so cute! I never think of stuff like that.
Nice work Judy.
Great job can't wait til I catch up. Love that applique.
I love your appliqué in the corner. What a wonderful idea. I'll have to keep that in mind for future use.
Very cute. I'm not much for doing applique, but I do appreciate it and what it adds to quilts. This is lovely.
Quilting out of the box....great idea...

Judy, love your applique. Very nice touch! Having cut out one of those "suckers", I know how difficult it can be. Kuddo's!!!

Judy, congrats on the tie win, beautiful quilt.
I really like the applique you choose. It really adds a nice touch.
congrats on winning. I'm a little enviouse of all the winners. I have yet to win anything. Guess I just have to keep practising. Love the applique!
Very nice, of course it deserves better than "nice". Was wondering if you would mind sharing how you quilted the quilt. I am a newbie and trying to learn how you decide on that step. Thanks and Congratulations.
Teri, thank you. I have a standard machine, Viking with a 10" throat. I'm afraid I don't plan much when I FMQ, I just start and go for it, meandering as I please. So my designs are kind of all over the board. But it's fun. There are many on this forum that are real experts.
Practice helps to gain control of your machine. Also, I use the gloves (NOT the machiner's gloves) that I pick up at Joann's for just a few bucks. They make all the difference.
