I need your opinion.  I am trying to decide which fabric to use as the binding.  Blue on the right, Orange on the left.  Please let me know what you think.

Thanks, Martha - Parker, CO

Love the orange binding, it looks awesome.  If you are looking for subtle choose the blue.

Martha,

Love the orange as binding!  Brings the inner part of the quilt to the outside and ties all the colors together beautifully!

I like the orange because it contrasts with fabric next to it.

That is really neat.   This is a very old block design and I think it is called "geese on the pond".    All of your quilts are beautiful.

Martha - love the orange binding.  Also love the cornerstones. I love your combination. The white inner border is perfect.

Sandy - what a wonderful treasure you have in your hands.  I sure wish my grandmothers had quilted.  I have crocheted and embroidered items which I treasure but one quilt would have been a real plus.  Lucky girl!

here's a pic, not a good one though, the dogs kept wanting to lie on it when I tried to use the floor then they kept jumping up on the bed.....the color looks off too...

Started quilting MQ8, Alley Cats. Up at 4am (stressful happenings this week-but healthwise we're good). To take my mind off things and get my blood pressure under control, I layered and pinned. Now I'm quilting. With a vengeance! George keeps rubbing my shoulders. Sweet fella.

I have a crocheted apron my grandmother made me over 67 years ago. Also have the large tablecloth she crocheted. You are right, it is such a treasure but a quilt, well, a quilt is warmth from the heart.

I made a pieced back for this quilt, now to actually

get it put together.

Oh and I like the orange binding the best, too.
