Thanks Helen. I really agonized about the green and gold. I did not know if it had enough contrast. I think I will be pleased with it in the end.
Thanks Helen. Now if I can only catch u with everyone.
Quilting My Rainbow
Peggy:Here in MN we just had another foot of snow (on April 19th).
Peggy, where in Minnesota are you?
On the banks of the Mississippi River in north central Minnesota (Brainerd lakes area)
I am north of the cities in Milaca. We were lucky enough to be in the heavy snow area. How about you?
30 miles north of Brainerd, and we have a good foot of new snow. What quilt shop do you head to when you need fabric?
Oh it depends. Gruners in St Cloud is probably favorite place to get good fabric but Mill Emds has nice qiality for discounted prices. KHow about you? Any good shops up your way? We are just shutting down for the night. Back at it tomorrow and Sunday.
I'm lucky to have four small quilt shops all within 30 miles of my house. They each have a unique personality. One has been in "Quilt Sampler" magazine as a Top Ten shop. I get to Grubers in St. Cloud once or twice a year. Have you been to Country Caboose in Wahkton? I see we're in the same MN Shop Hop region.
Edit: I take that back. I was thinking of Onamia. I guess Milaca is in the next region south of us.
Well, I finished step 4. I put some in the baggie & some out to see if it made a difference, but my lighting is so bad after dark I don't think it matters. Gonna take a break from the MQ this week to work on my granddaughter's quilt. I have an appointment on Friday to quilt it! I still need to get the back put together & gonna lay the batting out, during the week, to get rid of any kinks.
