  • Close up view of my Nana's Surprise...

    Just picked up from the long-arm quilt shop and she did a beautiful job on the quilting. Now all I have to do is bind it in red, and it'll be finished!

    For this quilt top I picked out some ugly fat quarters and threw in some brights to give it some color.The block is similar to a layer cake pattern I did earlier this year but I like this one because you can use scrap yardage. I will probably make more for the grandkids who have outgrown their smaller...

  • MQ7 - Desert Sunset

    Here is my finished MQ7 quilt top. I'm pretty happy with it, but like others have said, I wish I would have waited to see what others had done...some of the changes made were just fantastic.

  • Finally, Fabrics for MQ7

    These are the fabrics for my MQ7. I plan on 6x8, or 3 blocks from each color. Way, way outside my preferred prints!

    the fabrics have been cut and I am ready to see what Friday will bring. I have cut 60 pieces for each stack; for a larger, near twin size top.
